About TMA015:
The Band performs songs from the Great American Songbook. Well loved Jazz classics by Gershwin, Porter, Ellington and Berlin, including many of the songs popularized by Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Billie Holiday.
The vocals range from strong and passionate to delicate and intimate, while the backing of Adam on guitar, Pete on double bass and Luke on drums has a subtle understated elegance reminiscent of classic 1950's Jazz bands.
The singer has been performing with her current Jazz band line up since 2004. In that time they have played at many weddings, parties, clubs and corporate events throughout the South of England.
Weddings
The Jazz band have performed at many weddings and provide a very professional service tailored to your requirements. The band play a selection of the most romantic songs from the swing era of Jazz.
The singer can sing while the guests arrive and/or during the wedding breakfast, accompanied by a guitarist or a guitarist and double bass player. In the evening she can perform as a trio act (vocals, guitar and double bass) or quartet act (vocals, guitar, double bass and drums).
