- Band: Moonlighters
- Genre: Jazz & Swing
- Band size: solot to 5 piece
The Modernists is a jazz band based in Manchester fronted by Female Vocals.
We play a mix of jazz standards from ballads to full swing numbers and we also do vintage covers of modern songs (postmodern jukebox style).
We can taylor the set to be more traditional, or full of vintage covers or a mix of the 2 to suit the needs of the event.
We can offer different line ups for the band to suit style and budget – the standard is a 4 or 5 piece. We can reduce to a duo or trio or can add sax to make up a 6 piece.
