We are excited about the steam punk genre. Whilst having a conversation with our intern we realised that we have missed adding steam punk bands to our list.

Steampunk as a genre is described as: subgenre of science fiction and sometimes fantasy that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery. And Steampunk Music is just the same.

The Mad Dog Vintage | STEAMPUNK BAND HIRE

Using the trad jazz instrumentation of sousaphone, banjo, trombone and percussion.
We seek to do what the trad jazzers were doing way back then, ie play the popular music of the day. Why have such stomping instrumentation and then play tunes that are almost one hundred years old? We will tackle all form and genres, such as Heavy Metal, disco, soul, grunge and regular cheesy pop tunes. This is what we love doing, and all with beautiful 3 part singing harmonies!
